Sisse Bjerre is a Danish artist and fashion designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her practice moves between craft, sculpture, costume, and installation, working primarily with paper – in forms such as paper clay and papier-mâché – blended with natural elements like moss and stone. She seeks to explore and convey narratives between humans and nature, crafting artifacts and installations while experimenting with tactility and material interactions. Her practice investigates the intersection of past and present, bringing textures, patterns, and stories embedded in Scandinavian heritage and historical craft into dialogue with contemporary materials and forms.
